I just got more
information about the medieval market that I may attend. The time period is 11th-12th century in Germany right near the French
border. I’ll have to make a simple costume. Any
suggestions? Are there any photos
to consult? I did find:

[NOTE:link broken, but Wayback Machine shows that it was to a site selling the “La
Fleur de Lyse” patterns, developed by Evelyne Bouchard & Suzanne Grousse, ©2001
“Medieval Accessories, Men and Women, 11th to 15th
century”
“Women of the Medieval Romanesque Period, Years 1060 & 1150”
“Men of the Medieval Romanesque Period, Years 1060 & 1150”
These are currently available from the author’s Etsy shop:

I’m to bring my own stand for my herbal soaps, and my biggest
worry is some kind of roof in case
of rain. We can’t use plastic, of course, so I could use some ideas on that, too.
TIA,

I think these patterns
look fine, especially for someone just beginning.
